Vendor Information
What you will need in order to be a part of the Los Angeles and Orange County MUSICIAN'S SWAP MEET at Old World Village:
- Vendor registration is required: You need to fill out a contract application from the Los Angeles and Orange County Musician's Swap Meet website and submitt it before November 10, 2010. Please visit the Vendor Registration page to download the contract in Microsoft Word or PDF format.
- Professional vendors / Dealers must include their State of California resale number with their application. (See Legal Information section below)
- Non-Professional vendors who sell used goods and/or services more than twice a year must obtain a temporary resale number from California State Board of Equalization before submitting their application (See Legal Information section below)
- Reserve your preferred space location from the vendor space floor plan layout. (Vendor space floor plan layout will be emailed to you once we process your contract application).
- All Professional/Non-professional vendors must bring a copy of their photo ID on the day of the event.
Vendor space reservation is based on first come first serve basis.
NOTE: Walk in vendors who want to register on the day of the event will not be guaranteed any space availability.
Legal Information
- California State Law: you do not need a resale permit from Board of Equalization if you only sell 2 times per year (Used Equipment).
- For dealers or professionals who sell new goods, we need your California State Board of Equalization resale permit number & Photo ID. If you do not have a re-sale permit you can obtain one from the State of California by calling 1-800-400-7115 or by visiting www.boe.ca.gov. - If you are not selling goods and you just wish to use your space to advertise or promote your business, pass out flyers, webmasters, promo CD’s, DVD’s, etc. Then you DO NOT need the California State Board of Equalization permit.
NOTE for Foreign Sellers; If you would like to be a vendor at the Los Angeles / Orange County Musician's Swapmeet held monthly, let us know, we will help you get a California State Board of Equalization Sales Permit.
Space / Table / Chair Rental Fees:
(Each 10' x 10' spaces includes a 8' x 2.5" table, chairs, electrical, and WiFi access)
- 10' x 10' vendor space INDOOR = $35.00 for Professional and Non-Professional vendors
- 10' x 10' vendor space OUTDOOR (Under LAOCMSM provided tents) = $25.00
- 10' x 10' vendor space OUTDOOR (Open space - you may setup or bring your own tent) = $15
- 6' x 4' vendor space = $15.00 for Promotional vendors only (Includes 6 ' table, chair, electrical & WiFi access)
NOTE: On the day of the event, doors open for vendors at 7AM
